A custom circuit with a linear amplifier is attached to each PMT in
the focus box. This circuit is based on a standard integrated circuit
amplifier chip, e.g., Analog Devices AD8009, which has a bandwidth of
1GHz. The targeted gain of the PMT and amplifier provides a signal
level of 
2mV/photoelectron.
