``We would like a brief technical review of the electronics and data acquisition plans for an astrophysics project called VERITAS. VERITAS is a ground-based array of seven telescopes for detecting high energy gamma-ray showers induced in the atmosphere. These telescopes essentially consist of a 10m diameter mirror with a cluster of 500 PMTs in the focal plane. These are planned to be instrumented with 500MHz high dynamic range FADCs. We would like to have an external group of people look at our design plans for the hardware and provide some critique for our approach. We are eager to listen to your expertise in developing our instrumentation.''
